clean, staff helpful and polite, enjoyed our stay. we didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but food looked good. Cakes and coffee were very good in the afternoon. On leaving the hotel we were deducted $1 for each night stayed from our bond which is a tax, would be nice if someone had explained or even explain it seems silly????

When we arrived, the front desk people said we would get an upgrade to delux standard. This sounded good until we found that a mini trek was needed to reach the room from the lift. So, downstairs again and found a better location, and view from the superior (lowest) grade. The room was very spacious and the bathroom looked recently renovated. But, always a but, the rooms facilities were fairly poor. The bed was rock hard. The clock could not be adjusted to the correct time. The television picture deteriorated from furry to unwatchable. There were no firmer pillows available, although housekeeping offered us more of the same. The aircon was noisy. When the maintainance man arrived with a can of wd-40,my hopes sunk. Also. no chance of the thermostat doing its job. It seemed to be one temperature. If these annoying small details could be checked before customers came to stay, you would like to return. But, as I sincerely think that this is not going to happen, I probably won't be returning.
