The hotel was very quiet and relaxing away from the downtown area. The activities they offered during the day were a lot of fun. The buffet was pretty good for buffets, loved the snack bar at the pool and the drinks were excellent, although they could have had more servers at the pool, I think there was only 1 on staff, but never a long wait if you went to the bar. The restaurants where you need to make a reservation could be better. The soups and salads were all very good, but my entrees were not. The shrimp stuffed fish I couldn't eat because it was too fishy, the sushi was just ok, and the shrimp I had in the Mexican restaurant had a good sauce, but the shrimp was small and overcooked. The bartender in the lobby bar was awesome, we never had to order a new drink, he just refilled them when low. It's kind of a maze trying to get around this hotel because of the size, easier to take the paths around the pool and garden.
